Ground Earthing proposal:

We offer a full range of Electrical Protection products designed to protect power utility facilities worldwide. Our product offerings include international grounding and bonding accessories, surge and lightning protection products and CADWELD welded electrical connections.

Earthing System Components:
Earthing system in an installation is normally comprised of these components:

Earth wells and accessories
Marshalling earth buses (earthing distribution buses)
Earthing copper bear conductor  (Rope: 95 mm)
Earthing copper rods (20 mm)
Cat-Welding Material
Chemical Pyramid used to get best conductivity

Earthing/Grounding and Bonding
We offer an extensive line of grounding and bonding products, which includes ground rods, mechanical clamps, compression and threaded couplers, chemical ground rods, Pyramid (Ground Enhancement Material), inspection wells, Bus Bar Plates, and ground test instruments.
Ground Enhancement Material (Pyramid) is a superior conductive material that improves grounding effectiveness, especially in areas of poor conductivity (rocky ground, areas of moisture variation, sandy soils). Pyramid can dramatically lower earth resistance and impedance measures. Once in its set form, it maintains constant resistance for the life of the system. Pyramid performs in all soil conditions, even during dry spells and it does not dissolve, decompose or leach out with time.

CADWELD Welded Electrical Connections

CADWELD welded electrical connections are used to connect the grounding and bonding conductors to the ground electrode system, including ground rod electrodes. CADWELD connections provide a permanent, low-resistance connection needed to create a long-lasting, reliable bonding network with long service life.

CADWELD connections will not deteriorate or loosen with time and are made with affordable, lightweight and portable equipment.

Procedure of Earth Rods:
Depending on the design for an specific earth well, a number of rods will be driven into the ground by means of boring to form the main earthing electrode in the earth well and the well will be filled with the Pyramid chemical. In cases where two or more earth rods are to be driven, the individual rods are coupled to each other by means of “95 mm copper rope”. For the connectivity of the rods with the cable we will use cat welding procedure to get long lasting results.

To achieve the required results we might need to built Delta connectivity which may require two to three borings distance required minimum 4-5 Meters between each.  Rods installed in bored holes may be used to reach lower resistivity ground strata at depths beyond the reach of driven rods or where rock is encountered and it is not possible to drive rods. After installing the rod the bored hole will be back-filled with a low resistivity Pyramid mixture that will not shrink after pouring which will ensure good contact between the rod and the ground for the life of the installation.

Pyramid Properties and Characteristics

Pyramid (Ground Enhancement Material)  is a superior conductive material that solves your toughest grounding problems. It is the ideal material to use in areas of poor conductivity, such as rocky ground, mountain tops and sandy soil. Pyramid dramatically reduces earth resistance and impedance measurements. Furthermore, Pyramid may reduce the size of the grounding system where conventional methods are unsatisfactory. Once installed, Pyramid is maintenance-free, not requiring periodic charging or the presence of water to maintain its conductivity. Third-party testing has been completed to verify that Pyramid conforms to IEC® 62561-7. This standard introduces a benchmark for electrical performance and corrosion of earth enhancement materials that has been absent from the industry to date.

Pyramid maintains constant resistance for the life of the system once in its set.
Performs in all soil conditions even during dry spells and doesn’t require Soil testing
Does not require periodic charging treatments or placement.
Does not require the continuous presence of water to maintain its conductivity.
Fully sets within 3 days, fully cures within 28 days.
Does not dissolve, decompose, or leach out with time.
Non-corrosive.
Reduces vandalism and theft since conductors are hard to remove from concrete.
Easy-to-handle 25 lb (11.3kg) bags or buckets.
Requires only one person to install.
Exceeds IEC® 62561-7 which sets the benchmark for corrosion, leaching, sulfur content, and other environmental regulations.
